Certainly the cruel employer should be charged in court and jailed and made to pay for all the cruel treatment he meted out to the poor girl.He should have to pay damages and compensation though it would not reduce her suffering. Call this a civilized world? too many such incidents seem to point out to the contrary. What a World?
Our global future depends upon the number of mature individuals we can produce, people capable of love, capable of approaching the problems of our changing world as "love people", not "hate people".
Love depends not upon the attributes of the love object, but upon the individual's ability to love. This ability must be cultivated. It does not always come naturally as so many of us believe. I think the best thing we can do for our children is to teach them how to love.
This brings out the most ugly side of humanity and may lead to class struggle which generate out of many factors and this thoughtless exploitation contributes to extremism.
