I can never forget this song and when we read the poem by Du Mu we naturally would feel more able to understand the third and fourth verses, the sense of great anger and warm blooded love for the violated ancient country of our forefathers. We have nothing to fear to have this feeling as the British people have the same even after they have become citizens of the countries down under and the other side of the Pacific.
