“亡党亡国”？真是那么说的吗？真有那么严重了吗？还是“不一样的报纸”又在做“不一样”的解读，故意“耸人听闻”，制造大新闻？？
因为这话听来有些“蹊跷”，就好像过去十年来是我在当“第一把手”似的？如果是“先知先觉”在掌舵，又岂容局势发展至此地步？！
不知你的理解如何，我总觉得七律《人民解放军占领南京》中的
“人间正道是沧桑”，是蛮有深意的！
（也好，“马后炮”总胜过“无知无觉”的！）

Theoretically right does not mean everytthing is right and moreover there are often abuses and excesses requiring checks and balance. All peoples' participation in government is easier said than done. Now emphasis on checks and balance and close scrutiny on those in power is timely and badly needed. Absolute ppower is not feasible as it entails absolute corruption.
