年轻时只知道“遇人不淑”是指一个女子，错嫁一个无情郎、一个没有善待她的男人。谁知沧海桑田，数十年后，不知是哪里冒出的“新新人”，又给此成语加上另一层的意义。是“青出于蓝，更胜于蓝”呢；还是“标新立异”，胡乱“创新”；就交由今天的“主治医师”去诊断了。“温馨提醒”一下，今天的病号好像又有些“不一样”，务须多加些“不一样”的小心，以免看错病，给错药，谢谢！
欲知“遇人不淑”的沧桑史，先看几本词典的注解：
1980年台湾出版的《辞彙》，唯一的解释还是：误嫁不良的丈夫。
1996年台湾钟文出版社发行的《辞海》，除了“形容女子所嫁非人”外，又莫名其妙地加进一条“遇到待己不好的人”！显见好“创新”的黑手，已伸进词典的编纂中！从此天下大乱，读者们永无宁日矣。
反观中国方面，2001年北京商务印书馆的《现代汉语词典》（修订本）以及2005年由新加坡怡学出版社和北京商务印书馆共同出版的《新世纪高级汉语词典》，压根儿就不把这个成语放在眼中，并无收录在内！有可能跟“河东狮吼”那样，有冒犯“半边天”之嫌，而被打入冷宫？(其实，“冷宫”也是古代帝王对其妃嫔无情的摧残，此词可能也以少用为妙？)如果人们都以此类莫名其妙的考量作为取舍的标准，只怕历史悠久的丰富词汇就要愈来愈贫乏了。
“遇人不淑”，究竟只能是“女子所嫁非人”呢，还是也可作为“遇到待己不好的人”解？聪明的你自然知所抉择，而不会被那“半桶水”的所谓“新新人”（不管来自何方）牵着鼻子走！
到底真的是“病人”祸从口出呢，还是“善解人意”又喜“创新”的记者强把“死老鼠”塞进老粗的嘴里呢？

Even the DPM got scared and warned him and Ung not to overdo it or else ..he he the Master would be angry lo. Please don't forget the terrible losses to us ordinary citizens who are all to lose billions of dollars from this Port Authority scandal but please also scrutinize many more corruption cases in our Country involving our political masters and businessmen who are actually pseudo-politicians who by their very scheming dirty tricks swindled billions of our Country's resources to enrich their political masters while not forgetting to take more wives/cocubines, building palaces and buying luxurious limosines and also name it they will have it.
