I learned from Bible that God of Israelites did annihilate the enemies of Israelites by not only helping His people to fight against their enemies, the Canaan residents and God destroyed all the Canaan people who were true sons of Canaan and that all the males, females , children and even all their domesticated animals. So the Old Testament already told us how cery unfair and merciless is God! The New Testament is just fabricated to lure people of other races to believe in the God of Israelites. Is it ridiculous to believe in the Bibles???
