I recall this song was sung in a film in which the mother came back to family reunion after having eloped with her boy friend who abandoned her after a short romance . I could not remember the details or the full story but on hearing this, I have the feeling that her return means a great blessing to the once neglected and sorrowful kids. It gives deeper sense to the New Year Reunion.
